Rob McDaniel


Rob McDaniel is president and technical support engineer of Atlantec, LLC. Rob is a Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator and Certified SonicWALL Security Administrator, as well as a certified computer and network technician. He is also a proud graduate of Keene State College.

Brett Cannon

Senior Technical Support Engineer

Brett Cannon is senior technical support engineer of Atlantec with over nine years of progressive network experience. Prior to joining Atlantec, Brett provided network support to full service law firm Verrill Dana, LLP and medical manufacturer CBE/Valcom onsite at Whatman, Inc. He has also served as systems administrator of Pioneer Telephone and support specialist/network administrator of G.H. Bass & Company in addition to providing Tier 2 Technical Support for Microsoft Call Center Envisionet. Brett attended Southern Maine Technical College as well as the University of Maine, where he gained a broad working knowledge of several programming languages. His technical experience also includes BlackBerry expertise, web development, telephone support and technical documentation.

Michael Haskell

Senior Technical Support Engineer

Michael Haskell is an experienced management information systems (MIS) and technology professional with comprehensive skills in business operations, strategic planning, and IT security. He has served as an IT Manager for Vortechnics/Stormwater360 and Hunter Panels, LLC., and as senior LAN/WAN Administrator for NRG Barriers. Most recently, Michael was the IT Infrastructure Manager and Senior Solution Architect for Tyson Foods. He holds certifications from Cisco, Tandberg, Microsoft MCSE, SalesLogix, and Novell CNE. Michael received his Associate of Science degree in Computer Information Systems from the University of Maine, where he is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, expected in June of 2019.

Dave Wainwright

Technical Support Engineer

Dave Wainwright is Atlantec’s technical support engineer with over 10 years of experience in the information technology and services industry. Previously, Dave served as IT systems support and senior help desk analyst for Sappi Fine Paper NA headquartered in Boston, Massachusetts. In addition, Dave worked as PC technician for Dell Computers at International Paper, Androscoggin and Bucksport Mills, as well as PC support for Sony Electronics of America. Other titles include help desk analyst for Fairchild Semiconductor and UNUM-Provident Insurance Company. Dave is a proud graduate of Colorado College and is currently working toward his MBA at the University of South Florida.

Troy Nason

Troy Nason has previous experience as an IT instructor, computer sales and service specialist, project contractor, helpdesk specialist, lead network technician and project manager. He proudly holds the following degrees: Master of Science in Business (MSB) from Husson College, Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) from Husson College and Associate in Applied Science (AAS) from Andover College in Computer Science. He is also a Microsoft Certified System Engineer with numerous other technical certifications, designating him as a true expert in the IT field. Troy brings to our team decades of experience in PC service, repair, helpdesk support, network engineering, administration, and many other facets of both the IT industry and the small business sector, making him the professional our clients count on for innovative, cost-effective technology solutions.

Tony Morella

Tony Morella is an innovative, technically-inclined professional with extensive and progressive background in IT business, as well as expertise in project management / development and emerging technology. He is an expert when it comes to creating and implementing IT solutions that are built to fit your unique business needs, and is a Cisco Certified Network Associate with a Computer Science degree and nearly 20 years of IT industry experience. From hardware, software and operating systems to cloud and virtualization technology, Anthony is the expert you can rely on for next-generation IT solutions and the personal service you need to back them up.


Network Engineer

Sumit is Atlantec’s network engineer with over 3 years of cross cultural experience. Sumit graduated from Mahatma Gandhi Kashi Vidyapith University, India with a BA degree and is currently working towards his MBA in IT at Sikkim Manipal University. Prior to working at Atlantec, Sumit worked as a network engineer for Virtual Employee Pvt. Ltd. and has much experience working with Active Directory, SAN, NAS (QNAP) network monitoring as well as maintaining security checklists and managing remote servers. Sumit’s expertise lies in analyzing information system needs, evaluating end-user requirements, custom designing solutions as well as troubleshooting for complex information systems management.

Steven Martorano

IT Support Specialist

Not only has Steven successfully documented and labeled a company’s entire server room power requirements and network connections, he has also served as a secure courier for the US Army for a period of six months and is the recipient of the 2013 Award for Academic Excellence in Information Security. A graduate of the University of of Maine at Fort Kent, Steven holds not one, but two degrees: an associate’s degree in Information as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Applications. His fields of expertise include PC repair and troubleshooting, desktop support, information security and systems analysis.

Lloyd Vanderhorst, Jr.

Technical Support Engineer

Lloyd Vanderhorst has been a systems administrator for nearly 20 years with certifications in Office 365 and Azure. Before coming to Atlantec, he served in several important positions including IT Specialist at IT Link Maine, Systems Administrator at Technology Business Solutions, and Information Systems Coordinator and Web Developer at Beacon Systems, Inc.
